You're right, he's wrong. the fill at :20 just doesn't include that more bassy note that is included in the one right after, so it's not as noticeable. These girls ARE really playing this song. But what you're hearing is not what they are playing at the point of recording this video. It's studio recorded. and incredibly well mixed.
