www.engVid.com Many students have problems with prepositions in English. In this lesson, I explain how three prepositions -- 'at', 'on', and 'in' -- are used in relation to time. If you have any questions about this lesson, please come to the forums on engVid, where I will be happy to help you.

1 -> "At the office", means for example, that he's like around the office, not necessarily inside the office. 2 is the same.
3a/b -> Same thing here, but you need to use an article at 3a "at the Bank.." or "at a bank..".
4a/b -> It's the same as this example: "He spilled the milk all over the floor", some specific milk or "He spilled milk all over the floor", can be any milk.
Thats it, very easy, I know your comment was 10 months ago.. but..

I know he is saving Fox so that he may fight him later, but compared to how he acted in the 64 version and what Fox did to him (Got his eye. Killed some team members, defeated the side he was on, defeated him several times.). I think it was too. . . Standard of a thing to do. I allways thought the star fox series had original characters, but now it's more generic.
PS: And why did they downgrade the graphics on Fox's fur? He looked great in adventures

WOW, WOW, WOW, Rebecca thanks a lot , completely lost and doing the mistake of not using the proper preposition while conversing with others. Now is a lot more clear, my first language is spanish, I'll continue to take full advantage of your videos, thanks for posting those : ))

@titoheman Let me help you. Thats it, very easy, I know your comment was 10 months ago.. but.. Good bye.

I tell people to fill in the blank of this sentence: The squirrel ran ________ the bushes. Most of the prepositions fit in the blank, like: in, under, over, toward, on......

Rebecca ,the only problem is the audio ,either you are very far from the micro or the micro is too weak, or the room is too big, also, we hear the sound from the garbage truck and other cars and trucks from outside, would you mind closing windows next time? Thanks. Excellent class and very clear explanation. Good Luck!

@baigandine Trying to think of more transport-related things....on the raft, on the moving walkway (at the airport), on the rollercoaster. A bit early for me...
By: baigandine. on 02 Jun 10, 04:25:50
@Georgia275 I would add that we also use 'on' for anything that does not have a roof or walls, such as a magic carpet, or a camel, even if it were lower than us.

"...In this lesson..." Why "in"? Why not "On this lesson..." Why not "at this lesson"? Thanks in advance for your explanation. (Why not "thanks on advance"?) Hehehe.
