After being sick for a month. Virus, as well as symptoms of PSTD from my tour of dity in Bosnia 1993, I would not have had a job if living in America. And I would not have gotten statutory sick pay, nor full pay from work while being sick. I live in England these days. But the standards are the same all over Western Europe. I fo to the doctor, they don't ask me "cash or charge".
Hope that you will get what all Americans deserve: Public option.

BP also KNEW the "Annular gasket" was broken and wouldn't provide correct pressure readings but disregarded it.
This was revealed in "60 Minutes" recent expose' on the blowout.
My bet is BP will hang for this because they deliberately chose to disregard safety precautions

We also need a new national smart power grid to move electricity.
We can use a carbon tax on fossil fuels to pay for it, and it'll provide millions of JOBS that can't be exported.
Europe & China are ALREADY doing this and America will lose out in future green energy technologies, if we don't.
We owe it to our grandchildren.

@goog2k He He... After being sick for a month. Virus, as well as symptoms of PSTD from my tour of dity in Bosnia 1993, I would not have had a job if living in America. And I would not have gotten statutory sick pay, nor full pay from work while being sick. I live in England these days. But the standards are the same all over Western Europe. I fo to the doctor, they don't ask me "cash or charge". Hope that you will get what all Americans deserve: Public option. Good luck...

it is interesting that all these people are wealthy enough to never have to think about where their next meals are coming from. may they all go broke and find out what life is like for the average person. Today we have a royalty in absolute power, not landed gentry claiming ?devine right of kings?, but rather a very small coterie of extremely wealthy people (1% of families having some 40% of all wealth) who wield enormous power corporately and in government (an polyarchy). Unlimited economic growth has enabled them so far to still discontent while maintaining privilege. A very volatile situation imho.

hmmmm ... this shrill GOP rhetoric wanting to contain, even dismantle social security laws which benefit the under-privileged is equally shrill about keeping the Bush cuts which benefit the privleged. And this is happening when the concentration of wealth for the privileged in America is unprecedented (top 10% have over 50% of all earnings).
