Curling 55lbs dumbbells for 8 reps at 175lbs 5'8''.
I've suddenly started using heavier weight because I feel my biceps need to grow a little quicker, I was amazed at how much heavier I could go.
Squatting 295lbs for 5 reps, an all time personal record @ 175lbs 5'8''.
The most I've done prior was 285x5 (10lbs less) when I was 195lbs. I feel much stronger now.

Make sure you stregthen your posterior chain: Ham's glutes, lower back. Search for the "Squat Rx" videos here on youtube to fix your form.

Slow down your ... By: burn2live. on 02 Jan 08, 02:04:00 Slow down your negative phase and don't bounce out of the hole so much. It puts a lot of stress on your knees, especially when you start going heavier. I used to do the same and it was more difficult trying to fix the problem later on
